This privacy policy applies to the Social Tennis Manager app ("the App"), developed and operated by Bernard Sakran ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

Information We Collect

The App collects the following information provided voluntarily by users:

• Player name — entered when joining a session. Visible to other players in the same session and to the session administrator.
• Email address — collected for admin accounts only, used for authentication and account management.
• Payment status — recorded by the administrator to track session fees. No financial or card data is collected or stored.
• Player skill level — optionally provided or assigned by the administrator to organise balanced matches.
• Push notification token — collected when you enable notifications, used solely to deliver session updates to your device.

How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used solely to operate the Social Tennis Manager app, including:

• Managing session rosters and waitlists
• Organising and publishing match draws
• Sending push notifications about sessions, availability and cancellations
• Tracking payment status per session
• Communicating session details to participants

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond operating the App.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your device's push notification token is stored securely in our database. This token is used exclusively to deliver relevant session updates such as new sessions, spot availability, session cancellations, and roster changes.

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or by tapping the bell icon in the App. Your token will be removed when you unsubscribe.

Data Storage

App data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider, on servers located in Sydney, Australia. By using the App, you consent to your data being stored on these servers.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to operate the App. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to operate the App:

• Supabase — database storage and authentication
• Expo — push notification delivery service
• Apple APNs / Google FCM — platform push notification infrastructure

Player names and session information are visible to other participants within the same session group.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Australian Privacy Principles

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This includes collecting only what is necessary, storing it securely, and providing access upon request.
